Frosted Designs Fall Blog Hop

Hello and Welcome to the Frosted Designs Fall Blog Hop!!

This is a Challenge Blog Hop – Now what does that mean??

We have an overall Theme of “Fall” and the RECIPE can be found along the way. Each Designer is using one “ingredient” on their project. There are 12 stops on the hop, which makes 12 Ingredients. You choose 6 of the 12 ingredients to create your “Fall” project and link it up to the Frosted Designs BLOG.

Easy peasy!!

We have some awesome sponsors for our hop:
Prairie Bird Boutique
My Little Shoebox
Boys Rule Kits

Here is the complete blog line up in case you get lost along the way (or found me first).

You should have arrived here from Lori A’s blog. If not, then you can go back to the beginning of the hop at Frosted Designs to start the fun!

For my Fall themed project I did a collaboration with my 4 year old daughter, Sophie. At her preschool, the kids in her class were given turkeys to “disguise” from the Thanksgiving huntsman. Let me tell you there were some AWESOME turkeys! There was a cammoflauge turkey, a Hulk turkey, a scarecrow turkey, and my favorite-a cowboy turkey. If you know Sophie then you know she is 100% girly girl, so of course our turkey had to be a butterfly princess. We had so much fun working on this together. She picked out all of the papers (and mod podged them!), stickers, rub ons, and color palette. At night instead of reading bedtime stories she likes to watch art videos from Christy Tomlinson, Donna Downey, and other artists!

Anyhow…for my “ingredient” I used spray mist (and lots of it!). Here is our canvas turkey project:

Now make sure you head over to Lydia’s blog for some more fun Fall inspiration!!

Your turkey canvas came out soooo great! I love that you took a project from your daughter’s school and incorporated it into at art project the two of you could create together…and art videos at night? What a hoot! Gotta love a girly girl that will still get her hands “dirty” for a bit of art.
