Cookin’ up some craftiness :)

Over the weekend, I created a cookbook for my 19 year old daughter. She loves to cook and is beginning to collect recipes, so we thought this would be a fun way to store them. I bought a cheap sketchbook from Half Price Books, covered it in gesso, and went to work! Here are the results:

    Well, my college aged daughter is NOT a cook! LOL But I think I should compile all my faves into a book for me! This is adorable!!!

    I am in love! This is gorgeous. Can’t wait to start doing some art journaling of my own… if I can ever tear myself away from my iPad or break free from my blog addiction.
